George Williams (Learning Leadership Facilitator)
George Williams has over ten years experience working with young people, during which he has acquired a broad range of skills and abilities. As the Youth Worker at Mackay Baptist Church, George Williams has been a leader of leaders. Prior to this he was the Chaplain at Pioneer SHS for three years. Working with young people in a school setting is probably where he feels most comfortable.
George Williams is a gifted leader himself and developed the learning leadership curriculum to inspire young people and equip them for leadership. His wealth of knowledge comes from his life experience, bringing wisdom and insight that is second to none. He is a sought after communicator, not only for his leadership skills but also his motivational ability and relational wisdom.
Aside from working with young people, George has been a small business owner where he has gained invaluable people skills, motivational skills and knowledge of business principles. George has a wide and varied knowledge base for teaching leadership and life skills in general.
Curriculum Options
There are various options available for schools to implement this program.
- 8 Week Leadership Program.
This consists of eight 35 minute sessions held at a time that best suits the school. Alternatively, it can be presented as four 70 minute sessions, if this is more convenient. We are able to work in with any current arrangements you have.
- 8 Session Whole Day Program.
Instead of running Learning Leadership over a period of 8 weeks, the whole 8 sessions can be condensed into a one day seminar. This can be held anywhere that suitably caters for the size of the group you have in mind, either in school grounds or elsewhere.
- Leadership Coaching.
This is available for staff or students who have a project in mind and are looking for consultation on how to implement the project. This is an extremely effective way of consolidating the leadership principles that have been learnt throughout the Learning Leadership course.
- Speaking Engagements.
George is available to come and inspire your staff and students at staff meetings, student inductions, graduation dinners, school parades or even school camps.
